Gregory C. Gray, MD, MPH is the Robert E. Shope, MD, Professor in Infectious Disease Epidemiology in the Departments of Internal Medicine (Infectious Diseases), Microbiology and Immunology, and Global Health and Emerging Diseases at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He received his MD at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and his MPH from Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health and underwent preventive medicine and public health residency training at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Dr Gray has conducted diverse epidemiological studies of infectious diseases for 25 years on 5 continents and has authored more than 370 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters.
