Jennifer Tsai, MD, MEd is an emergency medicine physician, writer, educator, and advocate in New Haven, Connecticut, who seeks to advance equity across health care systems. Her academic work centers on the intersection between race, medicine, inequity, and trauma-informed care, and her essays and research have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Lancet, Scientific American, the Washington Post, ELLE, STAT, and the Journal of the American Medical Association, among other outlets.
