Hunter Jackson Smith, MD, MPH, MBE is chief of preventive medicine for the US Army Medical Research Directorate–Africa, stationed in Kisumu, Kenya and an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. He also serves as a subject matter expert for the Department of Defense Medical Ethics Center. CPT Smith is board-certified in general preventive medicine and public health.
