Elena Portacolone, PhD, MBA, MPH is an associate professor at the Institute for Health & Aging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is also affiliated with the Philip Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies and the Global Health Sciences Institute, both at UCSF. Her research aims to develop equitable policies and programs for older adults with cognitive impairment living alone in the United States and worldwide, including ethical use of artificial intelligence.
